KT Kitchens design consultants work with you to identify and develop a design concept. From the concept we will draft a 3D image and present that to you, from here we will negotiate further edits and once your design is finalised, we can move forward to manufacturing. Our 3D software, VORTEK is lifelike and has virtual reality capabilities. We can upload a paint colour, stone choice, splashback and many more individual design aesthetics to ensure nothing is left to the imagination.

Before opening our new state-of-the-art showroom in Hobart’s CBD, KT Kitchens client base evolved organically from numerous customer referrals and customer satisfaction, something which we value highly and is the core of our business.

Our joiners also possess traditional carpentry skills creating an exceptional combination to manufacture and install your joinery using best practice joinery techniques. Our external trades are trusted and highly regarded in their field.

KT Kitchens and YT Joinery is a marriage some might say was made in heaven (ha ha). KT Kitchens was created the same year that Ben (YT) and Katie (KT) were married, 2019.

In all seriousness, KT Kitchens came about after a need was identified in Ben and Katies established manufacturing business, YT Joinery. That need was for a Kitchen Designer that could also project manage.

YT Joinery since starting in 2012 had been focussed on manufacturing for other joiners and commercial work. Occasionally Ben would have a small window and be able to design, build and install a kitchen for a friend or referral and in turn that would create more demand for his craftmanship. So, to be able to service these referrals and keep the commercial and residential aspects of the business separate, KT Kitchens by YT Joinery was created.

YT Joinery has a strong history of repeat clients, word-of-mouth referrals and solid relationships with other industry professionals. KT Kitchens by YT Joinery is now following in the same footsteps with all of their completed kitchens to date been from referred customers.
